They will spend an hour arguing over a $5 refund when they could have won that customer over by handling it well in a minute, and then spent the rest of that time increasing sales. This is foolishness, my friends, and it is the sign of a poverty mentality. Stop lying by claiming “it is the principle, and not the money,” as the truth is your poverty mentality keeps you fighting for ever penny you receive and causes you to sabotage your business with terrible customer service habits.

You Must Prove The Value Of Your Good Or Service To Remove Cost As A Barrier To The Sale

Customers will argue about the cost of something when they are not convinced of the value of the product. If you have issues with customers claiming your good or service costs too much then you need to either better explain the value or add more to it to increase the perceived value.
