I saw a homeless man one day that was begging for money, but held up a sign saying, “Lost Everything, But Not My Faith.” While this is obviously not the most positive message, it was something unique in that he was not just advertising his poverty of material possessions, rather he was declaring that he still had his most important possession: faith. This is a valuable lesson that we can all learn, that the circumstances may look dire, but you can never lose your faith. The focus on the goodness of God will bring about circumstances that are great and filled with blessings!
