“History is written by the victors,” is a famous saying alerting people to the reality that much of what we are taught is historical fact may actually be fabricated to make the victor look better, but what if we take up this idea for our own lives? The spiritual art of revision can turn past failings and problems in life into things that help us to excel and achieve more. Christians must give up being Satan, the accuser of the brethren, in their own lives, and start being the person who fabricates a history that is only lovely and of good report. In doing this life will start to open up to the fulness of the blessing of God overflowing into all areas of our lives.
