An interesting quote from an 1990’s get-rich-quick infomercial actually has an important truth packed in it. Tom Vu ran real estate “get-rich-quick” seminars that were popular/infamous in the 1990’s. He one time said that when friends and people around him discouraged him from thinking he could be successful and get rich in America they told him he could not because he was a poor immigrant, poor minority, spoke no English, had no contacts, and other excuses. His response to them was, “You are losers! Get out of my way! I will make it some how!”
