Some people seem to think that for God to be glorified they need to be weak, losing, and miserable. They have this warped idea that God wants His creatures powerless as if such powerlessness means they will be more dependent on Him. The reality is that when you rise up to your powerful status in Christ you will be at the point of the most dependence on God that any human can have. People are powerless and failing because they are dependant on self and denying the power of God in their lives.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (Psalms 82:6)
