There is this confused idea that it is hard to be positive in this world, so it is not fair that we get what we believe for in our hearts. This misses the point that we have a choice in the matter and our thoughts are not forced upon us. There is a way to choose life and blessing, and live the abundant life that Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).
