Your Stress Exists Because You Do Not Take Action To Fix It! Includes Amazon Founder And CEO Jeff Bezos Interview

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. (Psalms 94:19)

“Stress primarily comes from not taking action over something that you can have some control over. So, if I find that some particular thing is causing me to have stress, that’s a warning flag for me. What it means is there’s something that I haven’t completely identified, perhaps in my conscious mind, that is bothering me, and I haven’t yet taken any action on it. I find as soon as I identify it, and make the first phone call, or send off the first e-mail message, or whatever it is that we’re going to do to start to address that situation — even if it’s not solved — the mere fact that we’re addressing it dramatically reduces any stress that might come from it. So, stress comes from ignoring things that you shouldn’t be ignoring, I think in large part. So, stress doesn’t come… people get stress wrong all the time in my opinion. Stress doesn’t come from hard work, for example. You know, you could be working incredibly hard, and loving it; and likewise, you could be out of work and incredibly stressed over that. So… and likewise, if you kind of use that as an analogy for what I was just talking about; if you are out of work, but you are going through a disciplined approach of a series of job interviews and working to remedy that situation you are going to be a lot less stressed than if you are just worrying about it and doing nothing.”

Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter. (Ecclesiastes 10:20)

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44)

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. (James 3:10)

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:10-14)

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Seven times in Genesis 1 it says that God saw that His creation was “good.” The seventh time it says “very good.”

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:31a)

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. (Mark 10:17-18)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. (Psalms 34:8)

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalms 100:5)

1 Chronicles 16:34; Psalms 106:1; 107:1; 118:1 and 29; and 136:1 say “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. (1 Chronicles 16:34)

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 106:1)

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 107:1)

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 118:1)

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Pslams 118:29)

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 136:1)

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)

That God is good is stressed in 2 Chronicles 5:13, 7:3, Ezra 3:11, Jeremiah 33:11, and numerous other passages of Scripture.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13)

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. (Acts 17:28)

Consumerism and “spending” money hinder many poor people from ever attaining any levels of wealth. I also deal with how our terminology in regards to using money can affect our mentality from one of poverty to one of abundance and wealth.
