Many seek approval through pseudo-humility. They diminish any compliments that they receive and tend to get caught up speaking words of cursing and death. Your words should be only edifying words of life and blessing.

  1. False humility is a common practice of people who do not realize who they are in Christ and who have been deceived into talking the devil’s word over their lives. We should speak highly of ourselves. This does not mean pride or arrogance, but we speak in line with the good things of God present in our lives!

    • Indeed there is the power of life and death in our words (Proverbs 18:21). That revelation is the key to getting the glorious life of God’s grace and abundance or getting a life of misery, drama, and failure. You are most wise to be operating in this truth.
