Basic concepts such as hard work and not giving up are ideal to imitate in another, but there is also a time and place for things to reap the best results. You must understand how an action applies to your situation and how it may not be right for you just because you saw another person take that action with good success. One person could wisely quit an activity that is no longer ideal for them, while another could quit the same activity and it be a disaster for them.
